Attention shoppers

Here’s to shameless self-promotion: I try not to post links to my newspaper’s Web site here because we all know nobody likes a girl who’s sickeningly full of herself (besides, isn’t that what Twitter is for?). But I’m going to make an exception here. I was in a supermarket sweep-type contest yesterday with two of my co-workers to benefit our local food bank. And I think the video is pretty funny. We taped a Flip camera to the front of our shopping cart sprinted down the meat aisle trying to avoid the “squeaky wheel” award for the team that finishes last (we finished second to last). You’ll hear my extremely docile co-worker Annie yelling “Look out lady!” We even knocked over a stack of melons.
